In conversations with Onet and WPROST, Grzegorz Kukowka, Managing Counsel at BLSK Legal, addressed key problems relating to the award of funds from the National Recovery Plan (KPO) and other EU funds. The biggest challenges:

  • Lack of effective means of appeal – appeals are examined by the very same institution that previously refused the support.
  • A “lottery” in assessing applications – good applications may be rejected for reasons that are insufficiently justified and unclear to the entrepreneur.
  • A shortage of experts – the most innovative projects suffer from a deficit of the most highly qualified experts to assess applications.
