Advocate. Member of the Grants, Development Incentives and Public Aid Team at BLSK. He specialises in public aid law (national and EU), including the financial and legal aspects of support for investment projects and research and development activities. He advises enterprises on obtaining non-commercial financing, optimising these processes and ensuring compliance of projects with EU regulations. He represents clients in proceedings before public administration authorities and administrative courts.
EXPERIENCE
- Area of specialisation: Public aid law (EU and Poland); grants, tax reliefs and support instruments for investments and R&D projects; analysis of cost eligibility and regulatory risks in EU-funded financing; administrative disputes, including representation before administrative courts.
- Identification and acquisition of financial incentives (grants and tax reliefs) for Polish and foreign enterprises from sectors including manufacturing, food processing, new technologies, automotive and IT.
- Advising on the largest projects in the telecommunications sector (CAPEX exceeding PLN 1 billion), providing comprehensive support from the planning stage and preparation of grant applications through to negotiations with financing institutions.
- Conducting analyses regarding the eligibility of expenditure co-financed from the EU budget, the legal status of companies, the possibility of cumulating public aid, and other issues related to the legal framework for the implementation of EU co-financed projects.
- Representing clients in disputes with public aid granting authorities, including before administrative courts.
