Grants, Subsidies and Development Incentives
We support our Clients in obtaining public funding, including EU funds, for the implementation of investment and research and development (R&D) projects. Our team provides comprehensive services covering the acquisition of grants or preferential loans, their settlement, as well as the handling of potential disputes with national and EU institutions.
The Grants, Subsidies and Development Incentives team has over 22 years of experience in advising on grants, subsidies and tax incentives. During this time, we have secured over PLN 6 billion in grants and PLN 5 billion in tax incentives for our Clients. Since January 2025, the team has been part of BLSK.
Our experience is rooted in the creation and development of grants teams within the largest advisory firms and law firms, and in the application of a unique advisory model based on the LEGAL-TECH-FIN HYBRID formula (recognised by a nomination for the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Europe 2019 award).

The practice is headed by dr Michał Turczyk, who for over two decades has been supporting enterprises in the financing of investments and development activities, with particular emphasis on foreign direct investments, public aid, tax incentives, as well as EU funds and national grants.

GRANTS, SUBSIDIES AND LOANS
We advise on obtaining grants and subsidies from national and EU sources. We also support clients in the process of applying for preferentially priced loans.
TAX RELIEFS AND EXEMPTIONS
We support clients in obtaining tax exemptions and tax reliefs, including exemptions available under the Polish Investment Zone.
CAPITAL INJECTIONS
We provide comprehensive services related to obtaining capital injections by public entities into companies.
PROJECT AUDITS AND INSPECTIONS
We assist during inspections carried out at beneficiaries of public funds and oversee their proper conduct.
DISPUTE PROCEEDINGS
We represent clients in disputes with funding authorities, the National Revenue Administration and other bodies authorised to audit expenditure, as well as in proceedings before administrative courts.
SETTLEMENT OF GRANTED FUNDS
We advise on the correctness of settlement of granted funds within subsidised projects and support clients in the proper reporting of project implementation.
