Last Thursday, our lawyers from the dispute resolution team — Antoni Żukowski, Senior Associate, and Przemysław Kolanek, Junior Associate — ran arbitration workshops for participants of the 2nd Vis Moot Academy programme organised by the University of Warsaw Moot Association. The session focused on preparing participants to draft the written memorandum that concludes the first of the programme’s two stages. Our lawyers:
👉 reminded participants of the basic principles of drafting pleadings in commercial arbitration,
👉 analysed the competition case together with the participants and drew out the most important arguments for both the claimant and the respondent,
👉 discussed the memorandum excerpts prepared by the participants.
